Hammered Coins for UK

Antioch

New member
Hi, I recently bought the CTX 3030, I have been using Minelab Detectors for years now, but this CTX 3030 is far the best for me. I have found hundreds of hammered coins over the years, I have uploaded a mode to help those that want to find hammered in the UK, I hope this will help. The first pattern is for all hammered and other coins and the second pattern is for mainly silver and gold hammered. I would suggest you use the first pattern on a new undetected site, but on one that has been hit many times use the second. Always remember that the coil should be scuffing the ground at all times, too many just swing inches over the ground and miss the cream coins. sensitivity should be high but if chatter just reduce slightly till the chatter is gone.

Thanks for sharing your patterns.

I've tried to open Antioch patterns, using a mac and a pc, but can't seem to figure out how. Can someone explain to me how to do this? I will heading to England this Oct. and would like some patterns to start with. Thanks in advance for help in this area.

You need to download the file to your computer. Then open the XChange2 App and import the file into the App, and open it there. Once there, it can be viewed, edited, and then dropped into the CTX.

Minelabs file extension, for the CTX usable files, is MLF. As far as I know, the XChange2 App is the only place those files can be opened and viewed.

Thanks for sharing your file. I've placed it in the sticky above, for folks to download to their CTX 3030. HH Randy
