Of course, who can resist taking photos of Half Dome while in Yosemite? Although it is not the largest granite monolith in the valley, it is by far the most recognizable. All 6 photos were taken on Sentenial Bridge (I believe that is the name), with the Merced River flowing beneath. The first 2 photos were taken with no special effects, while the third was taken with high saturation.
The fourth, as well as the fifth were taken in black and white mode. The man in the fifth photo is looking in the opposite direction of Half Dome and can be used in order to help judge the size of the valley walls.
The final photo I decided to get a little creative with. I had brought along a small one eye monoculars to try and get a better look at the top of Half Dome to see if there was still snow on the top. Sure enough, there was. It took me about 10 minutes to get this shot, although it did not turn out as well as I had hoped.
HH and GL everyone.
