Half Dollar Coin Ring!

Well-known member
Weekend finds are from 3 different Minnesota parks and 1 fairground.
The token is an older one as the MN merchant was a saloon owner in 1907.
At the parks I used the stock coil and patterned everything.
I had very good luck at the fairgrounds with my new 4.5 x 7 coil.
Rain is keeping me at home today.

Great work FPD! :clapping: I am wondering, coin rings are pretty rare, being hand made and all, a 'bucket list' find in fact. I know you have been hunting a long time, it this your first?

Now Thats a"Great Day", Dave. Took me 4-hrs to find one silver at the fairgrounds I've been hunting.
Keep it Up!

Great finds you have there! Congrats on the token and really cool ring. Pretty impressive handful of silver also.

Outstanding, that is more silver than I have found this entire year so far. Great stuff, 13 years of detecting savvy right there!

I am in NW Wisconsin but originally from the Twin Cities. We hunted some parks in the metro yesterday and did OK, but nothing like what you uncovered.

That's awesome! Congratulations on all the finds, especially that cool ring. Thanks for the pictures.

Wow ... killer finds - congrats !
And yes, the 4.5" x 7" coil rocks - it's like a laser pointer !

That ring is a great find and with a little posihing it still looks wearable.
Whoever made that ring did a good job.

Super Cool Find!!!

Don't you just love that 4.5x7 coil. It's easily my favorite coil. Absolutely delightful to swing on the Etrac. Found some great things with mine. Love to see others finding stuff with theirs!
