Saw this fly(?) zooming around my truck before it landed on outside mirror with struggling prey. The moth didn't struggle long but did shed a lot of wing scales. Shot this at f4, 1/250 from about 3". Hairy thing is about 1/2" long.

Excelent capture Dave. I've been wating to catch a chance like that. One never knows when it might happen and it's good to be prepaired. Thank's for sharing.
