....for the last week;boomer has been having his R-eye emitting a discgarge,and he has been squinting out of it-Yesterday,I got a clean wash rag,and was going to try and wipe his eye out;till I peeled his eye lid back,and seen all kinds of different colors that dont belong in eyes
-i said "THIS IS A JOB FOR A PRO!!",and I called the vet a mile away,and off we went.Turns out he had some kind of trauma happen in his eye(Hit by one of his chew toys,stick or whatever from outside,whatever);and it got inflamed,then infected.the good Dr.gave him a shot,some pills and some ointment for his eye,and said he will be
in about a month!!!
.....I talked to my wife over the weekend about his eye,and we agreed we'd just wait to see what happened-I told the vet this,he said"Good thing you didnt wait,because this kind of injury if left untreated,will lead to permanent blindness"
He also asked me if I did anything to try to make his eye better,and I told him NOPE!!!-Ive learned when Im in over my head,leave it to the pros".....He said GOOD;you probly would've made it a LOT worse,tryin to help him,and not knowing what to do"..............Thats what vets are for.So-After leavin the vet's office a hundred and some lighter,Boomer's definitely gettin better.We just HAVE to take care of our family members,human or animal ................
