This morning I took my Euro with the 5.75 and went to the park down the road and found a few coins.

I had been detecting in this park for weeks an decided I wanted to go somewhere else.:jump:

I drove to a town not far away. It has a large city park that has a skate park, ball fields, an amp theater and two large playgrounds.:)

It was cool and windy and there were only a few people there.

The playgrounds have wood chips. I soon discovered that if there is a lot of roots the Arky Barky won

Wow. Gold is always good, but the pennies with the cross cutouts are kind of cool, too.
 
I wonder what they cut those little crosses with.

Somebody probably cut those coins and gave them to their kids.

Nice!! Gold is always nice. And your right about learning!! You are always learning in this hobby - that's what gets you the nice finds in an ever dwindling assortment of goodies to be found. Nice day for you!!
