Not exactly the best conditions for Gulf water hunting, seas have been rough for sometime now around here. East wind this morning has had little effect calming the beach waters. It was like a washing machine out there this morning, almost didn't even give it a try, but if you could get out past the breaking waves, it was doable.
Couple +1 of firsts...
(1) First time out where Xcal 1000 was submerged since It was purchased three and a half months ago.
(2) First gold ring found in the water this year and first gold found with the Xcal :thumbup:
(3) First "square" ring:|

Got to dig a fair number of targets while bobbing around out there, mainly caps, tabs, junk earrings and a small amount of change. The 750 2g Tiffany ring with diamonds was a big plus to a difficult hunt. GL ALL

Now thats cool! :clapping: Do you think the rough conditions uncovered that ring? Seems theres only a tiny window to work the bottom before it all sands back in down there?

The fact it's Gold then the Name just spells Sweet find!! Congrads on the Excalibur Gold....

Congrats on the excal gold...now that you know what it sounds like you will probably be reeling them in on a regular basis...

Pretty sure this was a fresh drop. Lots of nice, hot days this past week has had lots of swimmers enjoying the water. Ring was a one scoop target, two scoops was about all you got b4 being moved by a wave. Sure is nice starting out with a 18k Tiffany ring, think the Xcal just named herself. I plan on finding lots more gold this summer, always knew what it sounded like on the Xcal..........just like a pull tab!.... Thanks
