Had to get out of the house

Haven't felt like going since the storm last thursday but had to get out of the house. I headed over to one of my new sites that have produced 3 silver quarters and my first Walker of the year. Dug a lot of trash but didn't have time to put on the X-5. Tried filming some full digs on silver and kept pulling clad, wouldn't you know the first hole I did without the camera and out pops a 1944 D merc. I stood up and got another deep penny signal and pulled a 1919 D wheatie. I was beginning to think alright this is getting good. The oldest coin so far was the 1934 walker. So I moved around to the back of the house and near the backsteps I got a 10-43 signal, I'm hoping wheatie, sure enough a 1953 wheat right under the surface. It started getting dark and I headed to a huge old tree and right at the base I got a 11-35 11-34.... Could it be.... Whoa my Etrac's first IH!! Finally. 1889 and it was less than 3 in. It double beeped once making me think zincoln on the surface. Glad I checked. Can't wait to go back tomorrow. Btw Mom and family is doing ok. Waiting on Insurance to let her know what she can do. I'm so ready to help get this behind her.... and me.

I'm glad you got out of the house as well! Congratulations on the finds and thanks for the pictures.

Thanks guys! It helps to get the mind off things. I tell you I'm so glad mom had insurance but here is the best advise I can give. If you have homeowners ins. Before you have a fire or natural disaster. Take pictures put them on a disc, write down every model and serial number of everything you have (valuable) and a price of what you paid, starting now keep receipts of expensive items and keep them somewhere else(saftey deposit box or safe). Some may say that's ridiculous or too much trouble, well you won't when half of your stuff is gone or blown a 1/4 mile from your house and up in a tree. Cause to get a claim they will ask for a list of everything, even what brand of silverware you had... Ugh... Btw I went again to the same place today and scored. http://www.findmall.com/read.php?63,1455228
