Had to get a maple tree taken down...

Big section broke off last week in a wind, exposing just how rotten it was. It was too unstable to climb, so I had to wait for a guy with a bucket truck to come out, which he did at 8 at night, and took it down in the dark. I'll start cleaning the brush today, and drop the trunk when the brush is out of the way. I'm glad this tree didn't fall on our house, taking out 2 sets of 200 year old windows... and possibly the roof over the front porch. I don't think it would have busted through the 18" thick brick walls.
