I hunted alongside four other explorers and an xterra.
We were in for a tough day even though I got off to a blistering start. In the first hour I had 2 IH's and a Barber Dime. Nothing to sneeze at. Then it cooled off.
I was hoping for more finds to be posted, but the pickings were SLIM! You truly had to work to find anything to speak of! Out of the other 5 guys I think there was a mercury dime, a sterling ring, and maybe 5 wheats or so.
I finished the day with the following:
12 Wheats
3 Indian Heads (1889, 1902, 1906)
2 Mercury Dimes (1935, 1945)
Barber Dime (1900)
1953 Belgium 20 Centimes
