I redid the area I had done with the discriminator off this time, I didn't anything good but I did have fun cause someone had a little 6 week old springer spanial puppy that I played with, I gave it a little bit of a beef stick I had brought to munch on and after the owner took her away as soon as the let her down she made a beeline for my bag cause she knew the beef sticks were in there. I didn't mind though cause she was so cute. I wanted to stay until it got too dark but it started getting stormy and actually started to downpour half way back to my house so I got soaked.

sounds like yo had a good day with the pup anyways. thats what detecting is mostly about ,,just getting out to the great outdoors....did you detector survive the storm?

yes it did. Actually after the sun came back out I snuck over to the abandoned house and did the area by the garage, below is some of the more interesting things I found besides bottle caps, the second thing I don't get, it is 8 what I think they call 10 penny nails bound together with what looks like the wire they have inside twist ties.

The nails are made for a roofing nail gun. I used to do a lot of roofing, used them all the time.
