Had my doubts at finding this ring.....

Got a call about a lost wedding band last Saterday, just got the pics this morning....FYI....I post a "Search and Recovery" ad on CL for lost jewelry daily. The ring was lost while playing ultimate Frisbee in a park on a football size field with no idea when it was lost..
The ring was on his finger before the game but was gone after .When I was first contacted by Daniel I was told that the ring was lost 3 weeks ago in a 50 x60 yard area,....when I got there it changed to 6 weeks, and a football field size area. I was a bit apprehensive at the task at hand, but I had already driven 30 miles to give it a shot.
All the negative thoughts I had as to finding the ring.....big field, lots of heavy rain, puddles, trash, time gone by......were not a problem!I found the ring in 20 minutes.
The field was short grass, and trash free...must have been a new park.I found 11 cents and two gum wrappers b4 the ring(Titanium) was found.A solid 12TID still laying on top the ground.--- Using the 705/5x10 HF DD Coil
I headed back toward Daniel, his wife, baby and friends who were in a group looking at a Caterpillar in a Frisbee. The wife says,"look what we found",I looked, said"cool"and dropped the ring in the Frisbee. It took a few seconds but their reaction priceless:clapping:....HH GL ALL

Good job!

Yep! We find needles in haystacks...that's what we do!

Congratulations on a job well done Bob! :clapping:

Great job! See....we're not geeky people who just look for pennies on the beach! Way to support our hobby and give it a better name.

That sounded like quite the task!!! Congradulations on your recovery!!
A job well done.. wish they all turned out like this.
