Had a real problem this afternoon

I think that i forgot how to use my Ace over lunch today. I fought with it all afternoon...I couldn't get a good solid repeatable signal to save my life and anytime I finally got it narrowed down, it would pinpoint anywhere inside a one foot square. I tell 'ya I couldn't get anything to work right. I finally decided to just go home and start fresh another time. I was swinging my way across the park on the way to the car when I finally got a nice clear signal. I dug down about 3 to 4 inches and out popped a 1947 Quarter. I was doubly pleased when the pro pointer said there was something else in the hole. I VERY carefully dug down another inch and a half and found..........A rusty 4 inch nail. Oh well, at least the quarter is real. Happy days aftrer all! Happy Hunting to all

What a sweet ending to a sad story. Ive read so many post about people giving up and detecting back to their vehicle and getting a good signal and boom a good find before you leave. Never give up . What a Motto:thumbup:

Perserverance pays off....and a great way to end the hunt.
