Had a real good day

Had a chance to go on a real adventure yesterday. I was invited to go to an area with early colonial activity. Found my first Spanish coins. Three are silver and one is a counterfeit. The buttons, cuff link and key were the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful for the friends I've had a chance to meet while learning how to pursue this hobby. Thanks for looking.

Good going Howard !
Isn't it great to recover stuff from so long ago... :clapping:

Could anyone help me to identify the type of key in the photo? An identical key was found by my buddy about 50 yards from the first one.

I think it's classed as a barrel lock key, found a lot over the years, in fields in the middle no ware, might have been to unlock the scrumpy barrels

I have encounter with Spanish Coins before, but pretty much not similar to yours...
