What a great hunt today. I used the GTI 2500 & my buddy used his GTI 1500. We met at the Golden Arches to discuss the where and how about today. Hit three different places in about a 6 hour hunt.

Here's the basic summary of how it went. Some loot and some relics.

Here's my buddy digging a target. To the right is an old tea kettle I managed to pull out. It had definitely seen better days.........

Amongst my digs, I managed an old bottle. I filled it with water and set it in my ultrasonic cleaner, and it cleaned up nicely. Some green water color helped give a better 3-D effect in the photo.

Here's some odds & ends. The first item on the left is a salt shaker, weighted on the bottom so it can't go get knocked over and stay on its side. It always ends up in the upright condition. Kind of cool.....

I managed to get a silver dime and an older Wheat cent. My buddy dug the chauffeur's badge and the Sam 5 play money.

Here's the watch I dug. Unfortunately, the face was missing, however, it turned out to be a gold watch.

Below is a pic with it all cleaned up. :)

Nice digs John.
Great looker of a watch.
Looked like a nice digging day.

Nice stuff !! I love silver & gold !!

Much better then gold plate. A sheet of brass has a thin sheet of gold attached to it then formed into a watch. It was made to last.....

That looks like one exciting and fortunate all around day of detecting!
I'm just surprised that you didnt have any extra time to get in a little nugget shooting.
OH yah...you found a gold watch...Nice!

That watch is so cool even if it isn't solid gold. Looks fab all shined up!
