Had a good week at a local 1930's home

I got permission to hunt a local home that was built in the 30's. Ended up with some good silver and about 35 wheaties. I can also open a diecast car store with all the cars I found. Total time I hunted was three days (probably 100+ holes). I think I need to return!

Wow, what a nice place you found Tom.......:clapping: That place will keep you busy for many months. CONGRATULATIONS

Pretty good haul Tom...looks like you have a lot of hot wheels...and I think I see a tootsie toy. The two dragsters might be worth checking out. Wheres the token from ...its really nice but I like to see the other side. Congrats on a nice hunt!!

Thanks Larry for the link. It's always fun when you hit a virgin yard.

You are right Steve, there is a tootsie toy. I do need to clean them up a little to see what's there. I got to believe that the neighborhood kids must have met at this house and played with all of their cars all day long. The token is good for 25 cents at G. & B. Stores in Metamora and Cazenovia. I haven't checked out what G. & B. stood for yet. Neil was going to check it out if he can find some time.

Very impressive detecting finds! :clapping: Love seeing all those cars, specially the little Jeep type. Love Tootsie Toy cars also. You've found a yard that might just keep giving for a couple years. Great pictures of your finds and thanks for sharing with us. HH, Nancy

Amazing!!! You have scored a honey hole there for sure. Congrats on your finds.

Just noticed the fire truck on the right... got that one...tootsie for sure nice spot you got there!

I tired of pulling out cars at first, but now I'm kinda excited about cleaning them up. I think they are from at least a couple of different decades possibly.

You get hooked on those old toys Tom, for me it's the tootsie toys and the premium rings, love finding them.
