Up at 4 and out the door! Found an old cut full of sinkers and scrap, started hitting the coins, one P is a 55 wheat. Got this 2.7gr 14k and 3 rings of the 925, and one St Christophers sterling medallion, which totaled 7.9gr. Running an AtPro in fresh water. Its cold and windy and blowing rain, but I could not leave that cut until all the nickel signals were gone and in my pocket! I think I may have missed a chain...I'll warm up and go back!

Nice finds, it sure is a good feeling when you're finding the goodies, congrats. Your day went pretty much like mine did, will post finds after a while. HH John

Nice hunt Mud........Congrats on the gold strike and multi ring finds.....We have been slammed storms, high SW,W,NW winds and rough surf for the past 6 days,I haven't seen a gold ring in the scoop in over a month, and that's the only one this year!!! GL HH

Silver looks like it's been there a while. Nice rescues! Congrats on the gold.

Thanks fellas, yeah, I've have been hunting for fresh drops on a big expanse of beach and swim area along with a bunch of other guys. It is a very grueling exercise to try to race around and get my share, and the fresh dropped gold has been so scarce! Lots of junk rings, and junk jewelry...not enough clad to make it worth while either, so I decided to find an oldish and hard to get to spot. I'll go back in and see what I missed...yes that silver has been in there a while, and the wheat penny suggests there could be some other finds in there of the silvery coin sort..really horrible weather this weekend here too Bob, hope you can get out once the surf settles down and find some gold! Good Luck all!

very nice mud cant wait to get back to US.... one more week left here in Poland

I went back in there this am for three hours...did a wide sweep and a narrow focus...seems I missed some nickels, heavy iron masking, 3 wheats is all worth mentioning...I found a few secondary minor cuts and washouts. Ring is junk, as is the medallion...I'm gonna try another area tomorrow that closely resembles this one in both make up and hard-to-get-to-ish-ness. I'm glad I found all the good stuff yesterday...Thanks for all the inspiring comments friends!:please:

WTG Mud, I think you're on the right track. I hope I can get out some next week, but have a lot of trips to make taking my Mom to the doctor. About one day a week is really all I can handle anyway. I'm lucky sometimes to get that, but I ain't complaining. HH

Nice Hunt MP, you hit it hard.....Congrads on the Yellow.....

That is a fantastic hunt! I am impressed by the AT pro/gold . When they make the salt water edition then it will be a wrap! They are one of the best in iron infested sites also.

Looks like you had a heck of a good day with the rings. Sure makes your heart pound when you find that gold. Get back out their and find more. Good luck... KEN
