What may have been my last hunt of the year ended up being a good one. 1918-D merc was lying next to the rusted nail in the hole. 1964 rosie was on top of the dirt .. no digging required for that one ! Another buffalo nickel and a sterling silver pin that looks like it came off of a military uniform. The nice weather has been a blessing, but I'm thinking that winter weather is only days away.

Nice finds Dave...and a good way to end the season it thats what it turns out to be. I was a little west of you, Park Rapids area, a couple of weeks ago and a couple of days felt like winter was already there. My wife and I grew up in Mn, but been south to long. I couldn't handle those winters anymore. Hope you have a little hunting window left. HH jim tn
