Went for a spin this morning with Spanky. He has been running his new used Excal and is really liking the unit. He has already found his 1st gold ring with the unit. I was in the water by 1A (daylight savings time was really 12A), into a 134A -0.1L (2 tide day) and SE winds at 5-10. Wore my wetsuit again, as the surf temps are in the mid 60s and air temps were about the same. Was running the Excal again myself and she did not let me down! Most targets were in the mine at waist to shoulder deep.

I felt like it sanded in after about the midpoint in the hunt, as the dense targets simply disappeared and can slaw, bottle caps and pulltabs dominated and it was time to go home. Bailed at 630A.
Total clad count was up at $3.53.

The lion's share of the gold came in the form of a 14K 12.1G lion pendant and it really made me ROAR!
