Had a confrontation with Davy Jones, last evening!........

Went for a spin with Huntress last evening. The hunt began a little after 7p into an 1134P 0.1L. The winds were 10-15K out of the south. Went to 3 locations and they all seemed sanded up. Huntress had a junker at the 2nd spot and some clad. I got the ladybug bracelet and around $.44 in clad at the 1st area. We then decided to hit 1 more spot, before calling it a night.

As I swept my coil over the 2nd bar, who do you think shows his ugly seaweed face? It was Davy Jones coming over toward me and he did not appreciate me hunting his loot. When he got within range of the Gulf Hunter special, I got the edge of the scoop right on the toe of his nasty boot! When he bent over in pain, I reached into his treasure chest and got my hands on this little fine unit. 18K I say! Nice grab for Galveston. I got a few pieces of it, but it is rare here. Sands were moving last night. I also had a 1942D wheatie, so there's somthing going on that I like. Also ended up with a copper toe ring and $1.74 in clad from this area. Glad to see gold again! We bailed around 12A, but I REALLY wanted to stay!

The last time i hunted, i went on the outer bar, i was getting alot of clad for the short amount of time i was on it, is that where alot of the jewelry goes? I dont get much clad at the trough. Thanks in advance, HH
