Went out with the shooter on the MXT today for about three hours and found 93 coins! 58 pennies, 12 nickles, 13 dimes, 10 quarters and 3 tokens. No wheaties, no buffs & no silver. The relic mode is still dy-no-mite! Gonna get cold any day now. Ron

We started getting cold last week with some high winds, highs were 40 degrees and the wind made it feel lot colder. Hasnt warmed up since as we are getting 30 degrees now and forcasting rain all week, so that sound like no detecting for me this week, but the weather men have been wrong before.
Sounds like you are doing OK with the mini shooter using the relic mode, now just to get the coil over some silver before it gets too cold or too much snow.
Good luck Ron
Rick

The coins (93 of em) are in the foreground. The rest is what I've found in the last couple of months.

Rick, went panning in the Black Hills today. Temp about 60 degrees. My buddy forgot to bring the pans and I did get a couple of hits with the MXT. Made the mistake of sticking my hands in the cold water! Brrrrrrrrrr! I'll remember where it is and check it out next spring. Go over to the Tesoro forum and check out the pics of the guy's in Canada that they just posted. Makes me feel like a whimp! I'm going south, Tampa, Florida for Thanksgiving and I "won't" forget my MXT! Ron

Looks like two quarts of coins is about $100.00! So about another quart of coins will buy me the new coil I've been wanting!
