had a bad day detecting

wow just got back from a 4 hour hunt and my finds and not too impressive. The site I was on was an old school yard where the school no longer exists, a guy I know who is 60 years old, took me around and pointed out where the ball field was, the sidewalks, etc......I found absolutely ZERO good stuff, I walked away with a pouch FULL of crap, pull tabs, canslaw, pop caps, etc. I could not get a strong coin signal anywhere. It just bounced around from pulltab to penny, to quarter and back it was nuts. Nothing would lock on at all today.

To make myself feel better I hit a tot lot for about an hour and got 25 coins for a total of $1.42

hope the next hunt is better!!

Hey at least you got out found a new friend and got some fresh air and exercise. I have had days like yours and made myself feel better by saying over and over again "at least there is less trash there than there was before" LOL. I don't consider not finding nothing but junk a bad day as long you had fun.
Now you know what the area is like, good and bad.
I might for a moment wonder - that old man pointed out the areas he already cleaned out

Go back-- turn your sens. down a little. You will be amazed when you clean alot of trash from an area. You may need to hunt it several times.

yes I twitched so much today my wrist is sore, and I am not joking. I just could not get it to lock on. I dug several of them trying to tell myself that SOME of them HAD to be good stuff, but they were just can slaw, pop tabs etc....
