Well John, you convinced me to go out for my first hunt with my Garrett being a Xmas gift. Kids enjoyed the adventure into the woods out here around St Albert and what did we find?!?!

The finds may not of been that great, but it was a lot of fun. Struggled through the under brush and deep snow.
Seeing you out and around some toboggan hills, may be the way to go for some future hunts. at least we don't have to deal with the deep snow!

And you have that huge hill in St. Albert too! I have hunted it several times, but not for the last couple of years. I love the exercise. I sleep good at night and sometimes even find good targets. That gold ring was a complete surprise to me. I was stunned when I saw gold in the hole.

I don't get why you guys that get snow complain so much: "aww man looks like my metal detecting days are over for the next 6 months, you guys that live where it's warm be sure to post and keep us entertained." Then you go and post stuff like this! Just giving you a hard time
