Met my buddy Scott from Costa Rica at a nearby swimming hole. He used his AT Gold, Mine was my AT Pro and there was another fellow also using an AT Pro in the water and another person using a Whites. It poured rain all day, and got a little cold with that wind. We all got some great finds.....

Below are my better finds all cleaned up.

Dang John, I haven't been on the forum much lately, but every time I do get on, you've found a ring...or two....and now 3! Plus a whole lot of other cool shtuff! Good job, man!

It was a blast John, cold compared to Costa Rica but fun for sure. Hmm, wonder how that colone coin got there.....odd that.

Nice work fellas! :clapping: I found one of those blue stoney rings recently..neat design.:thumbup:.
Mud

good hunting, :twodetecting:John and Scott.:clapping::clapping:
good video. I had never seen a hunt in a lake, the place looks nice.
thanks for sharing
:cheers:

Looked like some great finds. Love the clear water and no mussels or shells, but when they lift the scoop full of mud, it made me hurt all over. Too heavy for me, but just right for them. You can tell when you have a stainless steel ring, it's just so thick and the usual pull tabs and bottle caps. HH.

Scott's father-in-law built it. The basic design was a shovel. You can see some round magnets in the bottom of the scoop, which hold all our coinage. And a fun day it was. I nearly had to pull over on the way home trying to stay awake driving. Spending 5 hours out in the rain, the the cold and wind, then sitting in a warm car is hard to take.
