...they will lock the crosshairs upper right like a quarter. I dug one yesterday about 8" deep and on edge, almost didn't dig it the signal was so iffy. Thought I might get an indian or a zinc, but was surprized at hte large black disk...1833 and sweet!
Dig anything near upper right from high pulltab and above and you will be happy.

Brillo is right in our opinion, we find a lot of large coppers in Englang and all sing at top right.
Hope you find a good few, good luck.

<img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug"> I have heard tell of houses built around 1800 that they used to bury good's normally made of metal under the front porch, to ward off evil spirit's. Insence burners mostly. Hope ya find one.

as Lars states - right where a quarter hits.
only exception is on edge - I've had them hit 05-29 and 06-29. Plus you must remember that when two targets lie close together - the reading may be off.
iron is the biggest pain because it will sometimes read in the same place.
so dig all Quarter hits! and 28/29 hits
