[attachment 43588 GWButton1.jpg][attachment 43589 Albertsbook-GWbuttonpic.jpg]After 5 years of detecting, I finally found one. I really wanted one that said George Washington or GW, but I'll take this. It was found at a cellar hole site between the main foundation and the barn foundation. This seems to be the sweet spot for finds, at least for me as this year as I have found an 1875 Seated Half dollar and an 1832 Bust quarter in these spots. Thank you NH Bob for giving me some pointers on my XS and keeping me from wrapping it around a tree. Ron

Here's a couple other finds from a different site, a large field bbehind a 1700's house. A child's sterling fork and a snowshoe buckle, I think, along with the GW button. Thanks for looking, Ron

I agree you need to find one with a GW or 1789 on it, then you're talking turkey! :)

Congrats and Happy Holidays to you
