Guys tell me what you think!

I have a CZ-5 with 8" & 10-1/2" coils and hard carrying case in very nice shape, this detector hits a clad dime at 11" with 8" coil. I am contemplating on trading it for a F-75 SE with two coils, it doesn't have the boost mode or cache mode, have any of you used both of these detectors if so tell me what you think of this trade would I be making the wrong decision? I know the F-75 has a bigger learning curve but would it beat or match the depth of my CZ-5 and will it do any better in iron or bad ground mineralization?

First, if it doesn't do boost or cache it is not an SE. Fisher is not always nice in doubling up on names for models. IMHO...
I personally hardly ever get out of boost and don't like DE very much. I would not consider abandoning my CZ5 for anything if at all possible, but certainly not a non-boost F75. My SE has elbowed the CZ aside to become my A detector, but I still like to go B at the beach and sometimes I just need some change of pace.

Thanks for the insight guys I thought the boost modes were mainly for stubble field hunting and high grass I didn't know if the boost feature would help or hurt me in the pocket since I never hunt in these areas. I believe I will see if I can't get in touch with my local dealer and try one out before I commit to trade or buy one, you guys are great.

Yeah, I thought that too (about boost process) before I started using one. It lengthens the tones and makes the staccato signals MUCH more pleasant and easier to interpret without losing depth or recovery speed (don't ask me how). The ability to lift up and over surface objects like rocks or plants along with the weight advantage helped me choose the F75 over an E-trac when I was ready to buy a top end machine. Standard F75 has a plowed field process that is almost like boost but slows recovery and is not as sensitive to small items. I pretty much live in boost process.
