Well it seems the pair of headphones are not working properly and had a very bad time getting them to work good enough to get rid of electrical interference . I could not adjust the frequency because of the headphones. So I need a pair of headphones can you recommend a pair. I didn't know whether to get the stock ones that come with the infinium or the submersible headphones ? Or is there another pair out there you would recommend.

Thanks

The stock HPs work fine and the WP blue HPs are seriously loud and do not have a volume control.
You will need an adapter for other types and just about any 8 to 100 ohm inpedance HPs will work that are a similar power rating to the standard headphones. You donot need headphones with a wide frequency response, anything with a flat frequency responce from 100 to 10khz will be fine.
High qual stereo types can sound a bit scratchy with the infinium but are still quite usable.

Just from my own exp not gospel.

Just be careful when you attach them. The connector has very small pins, and it is hard to line them up with the pins on the unit. Make sure they are lined up properly and fitted into each other before you screw on the connector. If you end up missing, one of the pins will then get buried into the rubber when you screw the connector on, and won't make the connection, causing the headphones not to work or work erratically. Happened to me. I bought a used Infinium and it appeared that this had happened where there was now a hole in the rubber where one of the male pins would fit into, missing the female pin on the unit. I thought I had a bum Infinium until I realized that the headphones were not attached properly.

So if you do get a pair of the stock headphones, make sure everything is lined up properly before you push the connector in and prior to screwing the connector cap on.

Thank you for the responses,I will be careful when connecting the head phones don't care much for how that works but anyhow I was kinda in a hurry to get my new headphone before I got a response I went with the blue headphones.

im still waiting on my blue headphones, and i heard they were loud after i had already purchased them. i think im gonna try and find a peice of rubber or something to jam into them to block some of the unwanted audio
