How easy is it to take a Tesoro Compadre and put a 8" round concentric coil on it? ( the brown Tesoro concentric) Would it work? Has anyone done this? How would I do this..............anyone care to give me some guidance? Thank You for your replies.

Hi Ivan, try doing a search on Find's Tesoro forum on Compadre Mod and you should be able to find a bunch of info on your mod.A Google on Compadre Mod will likely find it also. I did that type mod on My Amigo II by simply cutting the coil cable about 12" from the box and putting a plug there so I can use any of the UMax coils on it. I think those doing the plug mod on the Compadre have been putting the plug in the box as there is more room inside it than is on the Amigo II..I read where one of the guys uses the Brown 8" coil and says it is great. Another likes the Troy Super 7. I haven't experimented much with mine yet and still mostly use the 7''that came on it.Have used the Super 7 a time or two and plan to try the Brown 8'' next. Good luck with yours and HH. Charlie

Ivan, I told you wrong! Do a Google on "Compadre Rewire" and all the info you need will be there. I just checked and it is there . HH,Charlie
