I hit one of the cellar holes we have been "taking out the trash" at (all the iron) & came up with this little beauty......it was a solid +28 from every angle & I was sure I had a coin. It's an 1821 Bust dime :yo: My second bust dime of the year......
In the second site picture, you can see the "GIT er Dun!" shirt hanging over a branch like our battle flag  heh

I'd probably keel over if I found a nice old dime like that - WTG - Hawkeye Jim.

when while I was digging & it was getting dark, I lost the +28 signal completely! :surprised:
Turns out it fell deeper into the hole, & I told myself, I know there's a small coin down there someplace & I'm a get it again if I have dig a 5 foot trench! :D

Sweet coin! Love those out of the way hiding spots ... you never know what you are gonna find.
See ya. Go Sox!

Yea - it's weird how that happens, you got a good signal and while digging it disappears - either on edge or falls to China - wonder how many people give up and move on???
Hawkeye Jim.
