I dug this rare, 1 piece cuff at a cellar hole this weekend with the Coinstrike. That shield is the same one that's on a dollar, the treasury dept shield. The button is from a Revenue Cutter ship. :usan: Looks like a "D Evans" backmark putting it around 1848 or so. A pretty rare uniform button, RV 25 in 1976 Alberts book......Just a little lemon juice..no foolish harsh chemicals like "alimanum jelli" ever used 'round these parts :puke:
