Well, after I got done fixing one computer yesterday, I made it back to Cass Lake. The same part I was finding the buckles in. WELL, it was a GREAT day!! 5 gold, pieces, 9 silver pieces and 2 "V" nickles. A 1902 and a 1899.
Best finds were the guns, skate and the propeller. Those guns and skate are OLD!!! Guns were within a foot of each other. They are probably cap guns. The rectangle thing left of the guns is a harmonica. The skate is neat. Never found a skate before. Glad no bones were around it!!
Top two rings are 14K. The one with diamonds has 5 in it, one is missing. The one with the cross on it has initials inside. Red Cross maybe?? Signet rings are 10K and the medal is a 12K. It wasn't marked but I took it to my jewler to check it. She said it is VERY old.
4 silver rings, the signet ring with the silver is gold plated over silver. A silver bracelet, a silver crosss and chain, A silver religeous medal on an aluminum chain and an aluminum religeous medal. Quarter is a 1953 and the dime is a 1950.
Brass propeller and keel for a snailboat, A couple of boat cleats and the tools made for some rewarding diving!!
Enjoy the pictures. Am going back for a full day tomorrow. Maybe my luck will continue.
Two horseshoes and no horse yet!! I did find 4 boat anchors and I put them all in a pile. I might drag them in later.
Taking pictures of shiney "V" nickles is beyond my ability. They are not letting me take a photo of them yet!!
