Well we finally tied the knot after dating for 4 years! [attachment 9036 us1.JPG][attachment 9037 us2.JPG]Just could not let her go, finally found 1 to treasure hunt with me.
That makes her a treasure that I was not prepared to lose. The rings were not treasure as I'm sure you all are wondering. I purchased them from Zales on the 1 year no interest credit plan,
[attachment 9035 rings.JPG]
Then a shot of Grace Manor (bed & breakfast) where we spent our 1st night on honeymoon in Galveston.[attachment 9038 gracemanor.JPG]
The next shot is the San Luis resort where we spent the next night and a shot out our 8th floor window of the hunting grounds.[attachment 9039 sanluis.JPG][attachment 9040 beach.JPG]
We don't have much of a treasure story though, but had a great time hunting and touring the towns historical sights.

First off, congratulations. I guess I just thought you two were an old married couple.
Now pay attention young man:
FIRST thing, always do what she says. She knows what shes talking about.
Fix stuff around the house, be handy, in this day and age, we could all be outsourced.;)
Treat the lady like you're still dating.
Listen to here when she talks, turn the TV down, the game will still be there.
Remind yourself every day why you married her, then remind her. gals love to hear that they are loved and appreciated.:cheekkiss:
do all this, and you will truly be a happily married man. I garonteee!!
Did i mention do what she tells ya to???

One more thing as a favor to all of us. Keep that lady busy and off the beach so much, shes just TOO darn GOOD with that detector.

Best wishes to you both. Jim and Julie in Iowa (headed for year 33)

may you both continue to "Treasure" your life together! God Bless!

Dave

I've been married going on 22 years this Dec. 31st. The best advise I ever heard came from a very elderly black gentleman he said.....

"You can be right, or you can have peace."

Truer words have never been spoken.

Now you know what real treasure is.

Been 24 years for me and saying "yes" after she proposed was the best thing I ever did. (hey, I was a little slow...) :)

therick, the ceremony was very informal and family only, but coastwise and lady coastwise were with us in spirit.

Bowtie, I took mine off but Huntress could not get hers off and so she hunted the beach. Hers is real tight!

perhaps a loose rubber band or even a piece of tape while hunting would be a good idea.HH and good luck to you both.
