Five hours at the beach with my younger son. Both using Ace 150's. Warm weather with light wind. Perfect.
Son was throwing a small stone in the air and catching it in his scoop most of the time! Suggested he swing the coil more but he seemed happy so I didn't push it. His cracked vertebrae a few weeks back is still on the mend, so no sports for a while and has to wear a back support. Nice to see him at the beach with a detector again though.
Son: 170 yen in coins. A silver ring with 'GUESS' written on the outside. And the 'Lucky Strike' lighter.
Me: Filled a bucket with trash, but the results were worth all the effort........
1,975 yen in Japanese coins.
One amusement machine coin - bottom left of pic.
Guitar pick....couple of junk rings next to that.
A 1926 Straits Settlements ten cents - thanks King George V!
One silver ring (in the main pic), not sure about the one with two 'rocks' at the bottom left (will call it a keeper for now), the middle ring is marked 9K and the one at the right 18K with ten little diamonds?.
Well, my next hunt will be in New Zealand. Back in Japan early May, hopefully with a few more pics to post of the results downunder........
HH and take care out there.
