Guess I'm back for a while

The Cleansweep coil has been sitting around whining for several months. You know how it goes. "You never take me anywhere anymore!" or that one we all love to hear, "You don't really love me!" . That kind of crap. I kept trying to calm it down with words like, "Well, you're still here aren't you? " and stuff like that but it wasn't going anywhere very fast as the cobwebs and dust were telling a different story.

So I'd been thinking about another Tesoro to put on it when a excellent condition Cortes came up for sale at what I consider a good price and after seeing the pictures I couldn't resist. I decided to pair the Cleansweep and Cortes together once more. Not going to do anything fancy with it. Mostly just for woodchip gold when I need to cover a lot of area in a short period of time.

At least now the Cleansweep coil will stop pestering me

Good to see your back, missed your gold hunting posts. I recently acquired a Cortes and a cleansweep myself. I've had it out a few times, definitely covers big areas fast. But I miss the iron discrimination of the concentric coils, especially on bottle caps. Our Canadian coins ring up just like bottlecaps. Hard to tell apart unless using a concentric.
Anyways, I'll be looking forward to your posts.
Good luck!

I miss mine but i may not use one as i have the lot to search and that may take the rest of the year .

Enjoy that Cortes and "TALKING" coil..............

Know exactly how it works. My Silver Umax and the clean sweep really makes the chips fly.:detecting:
