Guess I should have called first

I decided yesterday morning to go to local dealers shop and pick up a new E-trac.
When I arrived I noticed a sign on the door , upon closer inspection the sign read: closed for inventory till Feb 9.
Guess I should have called first, Oh well the snows to deep and its to cold to hunt anyway .

I guess I should have mentioned my dealer is only 14 miles away , on items he dont carry Im happy to order from the sponsers , but on an item this costly I trust my driving skills more than I do the loving care my UPS drivers give my packages .

It's becoming common in my area that packages get delivered and if nobody is home, they leave packages, then idiots drive around stealing them. So either a local pick up or have the delivery where the package must be signed for so they don't leave them out for the scavengers.

I have a good feeling of the dealer you are talking about and I have found that I can get a better deal as well as customer satisfaction from here on the forums as well as other dealers. I have come to the conclusion that a certain Michigan dealer is more in it for the money than to take care of his customer.

Would this be a dealer north of the indiana border? sure sounds like one i know also, I will never use again (Very Nice guy in a Used car salesman kind of way)

If you do decide to order an Etrac, check with Ralph at SunRay. They are one of this sites's sponsers. He uses the explorers and etrac machines along with the probe etc. If you purchase from him, he really can be a great help on the way these machines work in the field. I have bought several items from him and HIGHly giving him a chance on sellling you a machine. He's located in Iowa, so that is somewhat centrally located as far as shipping is concerned. PS... I don't receive anything from him for these comments, he is just really good to do business with.
