Guaranteed way to dig more coins

With a couple new "great" detectors coming out on the market, I am reading that they will take you back to spots worked out and give you the coins that you missed.
Well I can tell you a foolproof way to do this without paying a thousand bucks or more. Just learn your machine better, try different techniques, spend time doing the "hard" things in detecting instead of taking the easy way out. You will learn it better and go back and get what others have missed.
I know that most people dont want to hear this but it's truth spoken. Researching also helps a lot.
The man behind the machine is as important as the machine, but you will never hear the manufacturers or dealers say this.

[attachment 36793 silvergroupuse.jpg]You are so right steve... I mixed the Explorer I & II and doing very well. The Standing Lib, and the 1917, and 16 Mercs were all very deep, say 8 to 11" I was going to get the new SE, but will hold off and wait till they come down a bit...

a better detector that works good does make a difference.

One of the club members, who I've know a long time and has been detecting many, many years, said that the new Minelabs are really good as they can get the silver from under or near the iron and he has found plenty believe me and another member also has detected most of the St. Louis parks with one and you wouldn't believe the coins and etc. that he's found. He and his family lived in FL for awhile and he found jewelry in the water, but he likes finding the old coins in the parks, so he came back to St. Louis and is finding more and more Unless the detectors go deeper than 7-8 inches, the older coins will most likely not be found. Most that I find or under 6 inches, but I have found rings deeper, but not down 10 or 11 inches in parks or 15 inches like they claim in the sand. Anyway, I wouldn't have the energy to dig that deep, and not in parks.....there would be trouble from the park rangers!:(

Others in our club have Minelab detectors, too!

But you do know your detector and you are patient, which does the job for you! Good Luck!!

God Bless!
Betty
