GTP 1350 coil

Hi All, I have just purchased a new GTP 1350 ( hasn't arrived as yet) and can anyone tell me if the coils for the Ace 250 will work on the GTP 1350??? I have the Ace with the Std. coil and a 9x12" proformance coil. I would like to use the 9x12 on the 1350 if it would work. Looking forward to your replies.

Cheers,

It ids spot on and gets great depth. I asked here before I tried it and several folks said it would work fine but others said it wouldn't. On my 1350 the 9 x12 ace coil added 2 inches depth and it ids targets just as good.

They should work just fine!! The khz on both detectors are just a few tenths apart, not enough to matter. The connectors are the same too!!

Thanks for the replies fellas, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. Just waiting for the 1350 to arrive here in Aussie.:garrett:

Cheers,
Kevin

My new GTP1350 has arrived but haven't had a chance to get out into the field with it yet. I tried the 9x12 Ace coil on it and it seems to work just fine in my test plot. Put the 7x10 GTP coil on the Ace and it works good too. Anyone on the forum use the GTP? I would like some opinions and user info on this unit. One thing I did notice was the Belltone rings out a lot higher on the scale than the Ace 250. Anyway it seems to be a well built sturdy unit so hope to get out in a week or so to give it a workout.

Cheers,
Kevin
