GTI2500 coils; 5x10" scorcher//4.5" scorcher

hello;

I'm currently hunting with the 12.5" but around metal fences; it reacts like crazy.
is a scorcher better for this? what's the practical difference between 5x10" and 4.5"?
what's the typical use of those scorchers; when you find more with them compared to the 12.5"?

what about the 10x14" power DD; what's the typical use of this coil?

Thanks

When hunting close to metal turn your sensitivity way down but the best shot is a 4.5 coil. To learn about the 10 x14 go to my field test on same at losttreasure.com

I have had a hard time with my large imaging coil especially in trashy areas where there are more than one target under the coil. I recently had a 2 hour hunt using the large imaging coil, where my battery power was low, where I only found one coin. I went back out with the big coil the next day with fresh batteries and the larger coil and had much better luck.

I also have a very difficult time pinpointing with the big coil. How do you find pinpointing?

My current opinion of the 12.5 imaging coil is that it would be very suitable for relic hunts, not entirely helpful for coinshooting. I probably need another 20 hours of swinging it, though. I also find it makes the detector a bit off balance.
