GTI2000 & Sea Hunter Mark II

Hi all,
Want to thank the one that left a message on up-grades for some Garrett detectors. I just talked with MaryP at Garrett and mine is going to be on its way for a up-grade so thanks again for the info.

Also would like to state a little about my Garrett Mark II water detector and let anyone who may not know, it works just great as a land detector also. The Mark II as a land hunter has sure pulled me some good silver and gold finds out of the fields and parks this year, so if you should use one give it a try for DRY LAND hunting I think you will be surprised as to how well it can do!!:detecting:
 
so is Garrett service. I bought my GTA1000 at a garage sale. The elliptical coil was bad and Garrett replaced it with a 8.5" round one as the no longer handled the elliptical for free. I told them that I was not the original owner and they still replaced it for free. I sent the whole thing in and they charged me for what I asked for but let me know about some freebies if I wanted them. They did more for free than what I paid for. Listen to what the other MD'ers say about their brand repair and replacement, they don't come close.

Yeah Garrett is tough to beat. I've known guys who sent in an old, bum detector and got a new one for free. Garrett goes way out of their way to take care of their own. Don't know of any other company that bends over backwards like Garrett does, and I've dealt with a lot of them.

:clapping:I'm glad to hear Garrett did you a solid! I have nothing but good things to say about Garrett and their service! I had an issue with a machine and they took care of it ASAP and left me a message to make sure everything was OK! The build quality on my Infinium is great and it runs like a champ, nothing but good things to say about it!
