Hi all,
I took the Garrett 1500 out for the first time last night and used John's favorite settings. I was searching a playgound that's no longer in use.
I need a little help here. It seems like everytime I heard a repeatable belltone there was definitely a coin there. Sometimes the belltone wouldn't repeat, but was replaced by a different clunkier sound (how's that for a technical term). On the off chance that I was missing coins, I eventually dug a few of the clunkier sounds and they were coins about 40% of the time. Is this the part where I'm told that eventually, I'll know which tones to dig?
Thanks in advance,
Tagamet

Slow your swing way down and scan those sounds from different directions. Always check one-way signals.

Same advice my wife gives me (just kidding). Thanks for the suggestion though. Will do. I'm used to really thrashing about with the Tejon.
