GTI 2500

I've had this machine for 5 years now and I can honestly say that it's the best detector I've ever used.I have sampled most of the high end detectors from other brands like, white's,tesoro and minelab, but these machines didn't have the features of the gti.

The sizing feature is an absolute must in trashy areas and it's deadly accurate when it comes to notch discrimination. The lcd display gives you everything you need when deciding to dig or not.Coin size targets are accurate down to 8 inches. The more you use the gti ,the more successful you'll become.

I know how bad this machine gets bashed at the review website, but they probably haven't taken the time to understand what this machine is capable of doing. The DSP on the gti is powerful and will send signals DEEP into the ground to get those good targets. With the gti2500 I don't need a second detector because this one has it all.

I agree with you totally. The only thing Ive tried different with the 2500 was putting on the DD coil. You lose the imaging but man does it go deep. I dig a little more because you can't always be sure it is a coin size but you learn quickly target size by the quickness of the signal . I use that most of the time now special in open fields. Playgrounds I may put the stock coil on, maybe. The DD coil is a nice addition to the 2500, its like a whole new detector.

Well said Mark...its my fav detector. I have also put the new 11x8.5" DD coil on my 2500 and its a whole new machine...no imaging, but its a very powerful relic machine and prospector now. But it is hard to give up the Imaging. The 12.5 coil will Image DEEP and it will punch deep in average ground.
