Is the Gb fixed, Factory set or what.

Does it track ??? Appreciate anyones response who knows for sure. !!

ground balance is adjusted automatically through fast track and auto track .... read about it in the manual on page 60

The true all metal mode can be manually ground balanced and has ground track.

So disc mode Auto ground balances John ???.. It doesn't seem to clarify that in the manual

I saw it auto scans and adjust to the ground..just wasn't sure about Disc mode.....

Fast track is where you pump the detector while holding a button and the detector is balanced, same feature in the AT Gold - Pro. While / after / as well as doing that, it has Auto-track which constantly adjust ground balance in all modes, and can be set to slow, med or fast speed. The 2500, 1500 and Infinium are the only Garrett detectors that have Auto Ground balance which continuously monitors and adjust the ground balance.

It can be cut off also for full bore manual ground balance, utilized with the Fast-Track function.
