Hi all!

I going to be starting out in this hobby and been looking around and I like the Garret brand metal dectors so far. I want to get something that will go deep around the old schools, farmhouse and church's here in Wisconsin.
The two I am thinking about are GTI 2500 Pro with Eagle Eye and AT Pro. I just not sure which one, I also thinking if it will deep it should beable to locate less deep objects as well.

GTI 2500 Pro with Eagle Eye will get targets measured in feet instead of inches. It will only find pop can and larger sized targets. It won't sound off on a coin. Relic hunters use this machine when looking for known caches. I have set up a link for you to read using the Garrett "Bloodhound" which is a similar product.

You mentioned hunting churches, schools and farms. The AT Pro might just be the better machine for those places as it will pick up coins and jewellery at decent depths.

Thank You! I thought the GTI would be better since I could use it for deep coins and switch to the blood hound for caches. But from what I'm reading it appears most hunters prefer the AT Pro for it is better for deeper coils.
