Worked another 1 1/2 hours before work this morning. The GTI 2500 got me a nice silver dime and ring. Hot one today too. It got up to 86 degrees. That will warm a cold case of beer in about 20 minutes. :(

Nice finds. 86 is cool. Got up in the high nineties here today so I stayed in. Went out yesterday and braved the heat for a bit and scrounged up a little bit which I'll post later.

Yeah I know, I field tested it a long time ago. I'm so used to the 250 now the 2500 would probably break my arm. Course I got that helper Stan sent me and it works great. I'm going to have to get that old tank out and dust it off. It does have its own bag of tricks. Seems to be working for you.

Do you hunt around old trees up between the roots? That's where I find some oldies. Some time ago I found three Barbers in the same hole under a tree root with the 2500 - nearly 14 inches down. We have an old park here where a few gold coins have been found and most were in that location.
