Got out today for about 2 1/2 hours. Gridded a couple of soccer fields and got some loot and some cheap jewelry. Lucked out on another dang nice day up here.

Here's a close-up of the keepers.:)

John, do you know they used to race cars on Daytona Beach back in the forties and fifties. That's where the Daytona 500 originated.

Bill.

Certainly a nice pile of goodies there John. So the question is........what would the ACE 250 have missed that the 2500 found?

I have lived in that area longer then I have lived anywhere. I have lived in that area three different times since 1957. My last tour of duty there was for 16 years. Maybe that carburetor I found on the beach was part of history and I threw it away. Oh no, I destroyed an artifact.

Hey it might have come from Sir Malcolm Campbell's car when he attempted the world land speed record at Daytona way back - before he took his car to the Benneville salt flats.
