Does anyone have experience relic hunting with the 2500 ?

Thanks,
Mark

No but many don't know the all metal that ID's is as deep as anything on the market..Got a 13 inch Barber dime with perfect ID to prove it..

I have many hours on the GTI 2500. In the woods, I hunt in true all metal mode, assessing the number which the cursor shows up as. I dig/don't dig based on size of target, depth, stability etc. In trashier areas, I hunt using the standard imaging coil, programing my notches to eliminate what I consider junk in my areas of hunting.. All the signals should be checked in the higher conductivity range around the coins to silver range. Again, based on audio, depth and size, I may dig/not dig. I also like to use the sniper coil. It gets decent depth in true all metal mode and is sensitive to the tiniest targets.

I haven't used my 2500 but once since I got my at/pro, but I used it at a remote location the other day. I could only use the sniper coil due to the brush and briars, but all I found was cans. Good luck and HH.

SOmeday in the future I would LOVE to get the 2500
just to be able to use the Treasure Hound Search coil
for those deeper treasures.
