GTI 2500 COILS

I am thinking of upgrading my 9.5" white imageing coil to the black 9.5 " proformance coil
Does the black coil have an edge over the white coil? Or is it just cosmetic ?

It has a definite edge and it's tougher than nails. You'll like it.

No...it's more then cosmetic. It is more stable, and doesn't sound off as easy when hitting a tree with the side of the coil, which used to drive me crazy. It is also built a lot tougher then the white coil. The coil cover has holes in it to drain water along with a hole in the center for pinpointing. . And the coil is thinner and flat as the pic shows.

Will the black coil work on a GTI 2000, white coils signals too much when bumping twigs and such with sensitivity over 9.
