GTI 2500 Coil

Yooper

Member
This question is similar to the 1500 question below. I have the GTI 2500 that I purchased in 1999. It has the white imaging coil. The detector has been sitting idle for a bit and I am back to detecting again.

Is the newer black coil an improvement over the old white imaging coil?

Thanks

The newer black coil can run on a higher sensitivity, which should give you added depth. It doesn't false like the old one when hitting an object and is water proofed much better then the white one.
