Headed out this afternoon for some fresh air with a couple of detectors. That new chip in the GTI 2500 gets me to go up one more notch it seems, which in theory gives me a little more depth. Regardless, I lucked out with these finds.....

Here's a close-up off the silver 5 cent piece and silver dime. And the frost is still in the round in places....YIKES!

Below is a bird buddy that was keeping me company during the hunt. :)

I thought it was Pileated type. I looked it up and its a female. Work + Skill + Location + Location = Treasure (after a little luck) :)

Nice pile of loot!!!

I've always thought the Canadian coins were pretty, those early 1900's are really nice! I like the wreath design. Good finds, whether luck, skill or both.

Great detecting, as usual. Those Canadian Silver Five Cent pieces are so small. Easy to lose. Much tougher to find! Great going.

Great finds John. Location, location location. Oh, and some skill:thumbup:
